Mt. Morris, NY (May 22, 2019) – A fatal workplace accident that occurred at a home is currently under investigation by Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies. The incident took place on Tuesday, May 21st, and tragically resulted in the death of a tree service worker at an unspecified time.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Cecil Beardslee-West was moving logs at the time of the incident. Deputies stated that Beardslee-West was grasping a metal chain that was attached to a crane which was moving logs into the front yard of a home, located along an unspecified street.
Authorities stated that the chain which Beardslee-West was holding touched a power line and subsequently resulted in the electrocution of the victim. Beardslee-West was tragically pronounced dead at the scene but no further information has been released.
