We talked with Hach & Rose, LLP lawyer Evan Bane in the latest edition of our Attorney Spotlight series.
What inspired you to become an attorney?
I always wanted to be a personal injury trial attorney to fight for those who deserve compensation for the harm they have suffered. I was always drawn to each case’s “David v. Goliath” aspect while fighting for my clients. I am proud to support and fight for those in need.
What practice areas do you focus on?
I focus on catastrophic personal injuries, medical malpractice, and construction accidents.
Tell us about your most interesting or significant case.
My first client suffered a below-the-knee amputation following a trip and fall incident on a commercial property. As a result of his injuries, he could not continue working and could not support himself. After extensive litigation, we were able to get a great result. He was beyond satisfied with his settlement, and I am grateful that I was able to help him receive just compensation for his injuries.
What are you most proud of, professionally or personally?
I am proud to work with colleagues who believe in pursuing justice and maximum compensation for every client.
Do you have any hidden talents, hobbies, or a fun fact?
I enjoy taking long multi-borough bike rides around New York City on weekends.
