Spotlight on Marc Schauer
Marc Schauer
Marc Schauer represents clients who have suffered severe personal injuries in premises liability, motor vehicle, and construction accident cases. Prior to joining Hach & Rose, LLP, Mr. Schauer graduated from The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he graduated with honors.
Marc then went on to begin his career representing seriously injured clients. At the beginning of his career, he handled, settled, and litigated numerous complex cases and was able to get his clients fairly compensated for their injuries. Mr. Schauer then decided to see how insurance companies operated. He joined a large defense firm where he learned how insurance carriers thought about and analyzed personal injury claims. He also learned many litigation strategies and tactics that insurance companies use to defend injury cases.
After a short stint as a defense attorney, Marc realized his passion was helping those in need. He decided to leave insurance defense and has since made a return to help those individuals who have gotten severely injured. He now uses everything he learned representing insurance companies to best advocate for his injured clients. Over his long career, Mr. Schauer aggressively litigated for his clients, and that has resulted in hundreds of favorable settlements for injured clients in New York and New Jersey.
On his time off, Mr. Schauer enjoys spending time with his family and friends in New Jersey and Manhattan. He enjoys working out, exploring new restaurants, and, of course, following his favorite sports team, the New York Mets.
