How long have you worked at Hach & Rose, LLP?
I’ve worked here since June of 2002. It’s been nearly 20 years, and I’ve been with the firm since nearly the very beginning.
What is your role?
I’ve had a lot of roles during my time here! When I first joined the firm, I was a paralegal. Then I became the Office Manager. Now, I’m the HR Director and Settlement Processor. It’s amazing to see how much the firm has grown over the years.
What do you love most about your job?
My satisfaction comes from getting things done. Accomplishing tasks is what I really love! I am a hard worker and perfectionist. I also really enjoy speaking with the clients, because I’m the person who gets to call them when their settlement is ready at the conclusion of their case. It can be bittersweet, because no amount of money can ever make you whole again after a traumatic personal injury, but the recovery they receive will help them get on with their lives and heal comfortably. It’s good to make that personal connection with our clients.
How have you managed the transition of work environments and situations during the pandemic?
At first it was scary, because no one knew what was going to happen and the whole world felt like it was in a state of uncertainty. But at Hach & Rose we all worked together towards the same goal, which is to always put our clients’ best interests first. Whether we accomplish that goal at the office or at home didn’t really matter in the end.
What are things you enjoy during outside of work?
Music is my happy place! Going to a concert is definitely my favorite thing to do, especially now that Covid restrictions are easing up and we can actually go to concerts again. I’m also a mom of 3 children who are 9, 7, and 3, and I love spending time with them.
