Lewiston, NY (May 9, 2019) – Early Wednesday morning, May 8th, first responders arrived at the scene of a motorcycle crash that left one person injured, according to authorities. The incident was reported to have taken place around 4:40 a.m. on the Niagara University campus for reasons that have not been made clear at this time.
According to officials who were dispatched to the scene, a motorcycle rider ended up striking a light pole in the vicinity of Campus Parkway and Power Authority Service Drive. It has not been stated as to whether or not another vehicle was involved or if the crash was the result of a mechanical failure.
Emergency medical crews were sent to the crash site where they confirmed that one person suffered injuries. However, there has been no mention of the victims’ current condition or if they were hospitalized for treatment. At this time, the events surrounding this accident remain under investigation.
