Lockport, NY (April 18, 2019) – While many jobs come with obvious hazards, each and every worker retains the rights to a safe work environment. Two workers at a dog daycare facility were reported to have suffered work-related injuries while performing their duties on Thursday morning, April 18th.
The incident, which occurred at an unspecified time, took place at K-9 Funhouse on South Transit Road, according to authorities. Police stated that two people, a man and a woman who are believed to operate the business, suffered serious enough cuts and to their arms and hands while attempting to gain control of a Labrador-mix dog.
According to other workers at the facility, the injuries are considered minor at this time. However, the injuries were reported as serious enough to require hospitalization at Erie County Medical center, according to authorities. No further information has been provided at this time.
