Schenectady, NY (March 29, 2019) – A work-related injury was reported to have occurred on Friday afternoon, March 29th, after a worker became pinned by a tree that he had been removing. Emergency medical crews accompanied police at the scene of the incident, which occurred behind a home located on Van Vranken Avenue at an unspecified time.
According to authorities, emergency rescue crews had arrived at the scene and worked to rescue the man who was pinned by a falling a tree. The worker was reported to have suffered at least minor injuries as he had his leg trapped underneath debris and required immediate medical attention.
At this time, it has not been stated as to whether or not the worker has been hospitalized, as very few details have been released. The name of the victim has not been provided but authorities said that he is expected to make a full recovery.
